Another symptom is the dark line that many parents develop on their abdomen when they're expecting. It's technical name is the "linea nigra" or "linea negra," which literally translates to "black line." It's dark in color, about a quarter inch wide, and runs vertically from your pubic area to above your belly button.
Are you pregnant and feeling extremely itchy? Do you have a rash spreading everywhere on your abdomen except your umbilicus (a fancy word for belly button)? You may want to ask your provider to examine you for PUPPP.
