Erie Childbirth Education Class

Childbirth Education & Breastfeeding Classes 

During every childbirth education class, we’ll explore the How’s, When’s and Why's of pregnancy, labor, birth and postpartum. These classes are private and take place in the comfort of your own home. It’s pretty great— you and your partner can feel relaxed and literally come to class in your pajamas and snack the whole time if you wish. We are accommodating to your busy schedule: daytime, evening, and weekend classes are available.

Sibling Classes

By providing siblings with education and experiences that relate to newborn babies,  the expectation is that they will feel more at ease and have the tools to develop a healthy sibling bond. Open to siblings of all ages!

Privately Tailored Birth Planning Sessions 

Our birth planning sessions are done with our certified Childbirth Educators or Birth Doulas. We work together to construct a birth plan that fits your needs and wants. We offer postpartum planning sessions as well.

Your Best Postpartum Class

Transitioning to life after a baby isn’t easy! The postpartum period can be isolating and often rouses feelings of uncertainty. Attend during your pregnancy, or after the birth of your baby to learn how to make a smooth adjustment. You will leave feeling empowered, confident, and ready to parent your bundle of joy! This class also covers basic newborn care: from bathing to swaddling to diapering and everything in between!

Your body changes a lot during pregnancy. A variety of symptoms emerge--from morning sickness to stretch marks and everything in between. In order to grow a baby, your body does some hard work!

Another symptom is the dark line that many parents develop on their abdomen when they're expecting. It's technical name is the "linea nigra" or "linea negra," which literally translates to "black line." It's dark in color, about a quarter inch wide, and runs vertically from your pubic area to above your belly button.
